Your Time Can Make a Difference
At Helping Captives, volunteers are an important part of the community standing together for freedom. When you give your time and talents, you help make it possible for Helping Captives to continue the work of prevention, intervention, and recovery for those impacted by sex trafficking.
Your time has value. Your talents have purpose.
There’s a place for you in this fight.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
Events — Assist with preparation, setup, serving and cleanup.
Facilities — Use your skills to care for the spaces that support our mission.
Thrift Store — Give your time to help with the day-to-day needs of our thrift store.
Main Office — Office and administrative opportunities.
Other Opportunities — Have a skill or talent you’d like to share? Tell us about it!
You don’t need to know exactly where you fit before getting started. Tell us a little about yourself, and let us know where you’re interested in serving. Fill out our volunteer form.

Some of the most important work happens before the doors ever open. Event volunteers may serve in the days and weeks leading up to an event by helping with planning, preparation, organizing, and setup. Others serve on event day by welcoming guests, assisting where needed, or helping with cleanup afterward.
Find your place. Use your gifts.

We’re updating our volunteer program at the Safe House and have a stringent process that includes training and background checks to protect those we serve. If this is an area you’re interested in investing your time and talents—or if you’ve volunteered with us in the past and would like to re-engage please email us at survivorservices@helpingcaptives.org.
We understand that not everyone can volunteer their time—but prayer is powerful, and it’s something we all can do. We ask for your prayers over our program, that God would provide wisdom, strength, and healing for the survivors we serve. Pray for our staff and volunteers as they walk alongside those on their journey to freedom. Your prayers make a difference. Thank you for standing with us in this fight!
